MIC Injections and Their Role in Weight Management

By Ollie Anerson

MIC is an acronym for the compounds: L-Methionine, Inositol and Choline. Lipotrophic agents like these will aid the body to break fat down during metabolism.

As part of a successful hCG Protocol, physicians add MIC injections as a therapy to augment a patient's weight loss experience. The liver is assisted by the lipotrophic injections to take fat out, as hCG does release fat into the body. Equally, some hCG programs enhance their MIC injections with associated fat burning compounds such as Cyanocobalamin, or they add additional injections to complement their MIC injection protocol, such as injections of B6 and/or B12.

L- Methionine is one of eight essential amino acids that are the building blocks for proteins but which cannot be produced in the body. L-Methionine is not only used as a supplement by injection or ingestion, it is also found in many vegetables like potatoes and spinach, dairy products and meats, and sesame seeds and Brazil nuts. Liver disease patients and vegetarians use L-Methionine to supplement their nutritional regime.

For weight management, L- Methionine helps the body process and eliminate fat. Also, this is an essential amino acid to help produce taurine and cysteine, which aid the body in getting rid of toxins.

The body is able to synthesize inositol so it is no longer considered to be a vitamin, it is a carbohydrate which is not a sugar, and is no longer a member of the Vitamin B complex. It is also found predominantly in fruits such as cantaloupe and oranges, as well as bananas, kidney beans, raisins, and peanuts.

In the management of weight, inositol, when used in combination with other B complex vitamins, helps the liver break down fats in the body, and when used in combination with other compounds in a MIC injection, especially choline, inositol forms lecithin which is known to aid in the metabolism of fat.

Choline is considered an essential nutrient that, while produced in the liver, is generally not produced in sufficient quantities. Like inositol, it is often grouped within the B complex of vitamins, although it is not a true B vitamin. Choline is required in the regulation of the kidneys, liver and gallbladder.

A methyl donor that assists detoxification in the liver during weight reduction, choline is highly important to in the function of fat metabolizing.

Soybeans along with eggs are two of our best choline-based food sources, as well as beef liver, cauliflower, tofu and almonds.

Inositol and choline have been known to actually decrease symptoms from depression and help increase mental function, and these are part of a successful hCG protocol, that are given as MIC injections every week for the rest of the treatments.
